Introducing the Manuscript Matchup: A Beta Reader Program by History Through Fiction

Are you on the hunt for honest, constructive feedback on your manuscript? Look no further! History Through Fiction is thrilled to announce our new beta reader program, Manuscript Matchup, kicking off its first quarter cycle from January to March 2025.

Unlock the Potential of Your Manuscript

Our exclusive Beta Reader Matching Program is a game-changer for writers seeking to refine their work with direct insights. Spearheaded by Jillian Forsberg, acclaimed author of The Rhino Keeper, this initiative is more than just an exchange of manuscripts—it's a community where every critique propels you forward.

Here's the Scoop:

  • Complete Our Form: Share a glimpse of your writing world—your style, genre, and the essence of your story. This helps us find your manuscript's perfect counterpart.

  • Become Part of the Cycle: When you join, you'll also step into the shoes of a beta reader. It's all about mutual benefit and shared growth.

  • Learn from the Best: Jillian Forsberg will lead a workshop on effective beta reading. We're all about quality feedback that makes a difference.

  • Discover Your Match: We carefully pair manuscripts to ensure a tailored review experience. You'll get a set of guiding questions to enrich your feedback.

  • Connect and Reflect: After three months, we come together to discuss, network, and celebrate our collective progress.

Don't let this opportunity slip by. Be part of a reciprocal beta reading journey that not only hones your craft but also connects you with fellow passionate writers.

Join us. Grow with us. Together, let's transform your manuscript into a story that’s submission ready.
