History Through Fiction is proud to release the cover design for our upcoming novel, The Sky Worshipers. In her epic debut novel, author F.M. Deemyad reveals the tumultuous world of the Genghis Khan and his followers as the Mongols conquer much of Eurasia during the 13th century. Told through the eyes of three foreign princesses taken captive, this fact-based historical novel shows the complexity and depth of the largest contiguous empire in the history of the world. Written with eloquent detail of the landscape and people, Deemyad goes beyond just historical record by including delicately styled, emotionally moving fictional accounts of the conquered as they fell to the power of the Mongol invaders.

The cover design comes from Ryan Scheife of Mayfly Design in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mayfly Design has been the exclusive cover and layout designer for History Through Fiction. Previous covers include The Education of Delhomme and Resisting Removal, which was nominated as a finalist for the 14th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards.
